DTGen partners with TEDOM for CHP

We have struck a partnership with cogeneration expert, TEDOM, for the supply of combined heat and power (CHP) equipment.

John Kinstrie, Energy Solutions Director at DTGen, said: “TEDOM is one of the top businesses in the cogeneration sector, and we’re pleased to have forged this official partnership that further strengthens our energy solutions business by supporting our aim to reduce the cost of energy for customers, and their impact on the environment.”

For more than 30 years, TEDOM has been involved in the development, production, and operation of CHP units. It develops and manufactures its own highly efficient combustion engines for these cogeneration units and also modifies engines from renowned global manufacturers, offering gas CHP units with electric power ranging from 30 kW to 4.5 MW with class-leading efficiencies.

Its range of CHPs is developed to not only run on natural gas but also include ranges capable of running on liquid gases, bio-gasses and hydrogen.

As a result of the continuous technical development of components and the optimisation of the maintenance period, TEDOM CHP units are renowned for their long lifespan and reliability.

Miloslav Kužela, Chief Sales Officer of TEDOM, said: “TEDOM's global footprint expands further with our partnership with DTGen. Having been active in the UK market for more than a decade, our decision to open a new TEDOM UK branch in 2023 further underscores our long-standing commitment to delivering cogeneration solutions across the world.

Kenny Matley, Managing Director of TEDOM UK, added: “This new UK alliance with DTGen represents another important step on our journey. With decades of innovation in cogeneration technology and energy services, we bring a legacy of efficiency and sustainability to this new collaboration. This development not only strengthens our global presence but also brings our advanced technologies closer to the UK customers.”

We deliver a range of energy solutions to customers, including on-site generation, to help improve energy efficiency, reduce energy bills and improve power resilience. By using various technologies, such as gas to power generators, combined heat and power units, solar and battery energy storage systems, it provides customers with a full, behind-the-meter energy system.

It then provides customers with products, support and advice throughout the life cycle of their equipment. From start to finish, DTGen offers a complete turnkey package, fully financed systems and energy contracts as well as straight purchase options – supporting industrial and commercial customers on the journey to net zero and more affordable energy vs grid imports.
