Standby power specialist, Dieselec Thistle, has continued its winning streak this week after adding a prestigious 2013 Private Business Award to its trophy cabinet following the awards dinner in Edinburgh.
Sponsored by PwC in association with HSBC Private Bank, the Private Business Awards recognise the issues and challenges that private businesses face and the contribution of such businesses to the UK economy and to the communities in which they operate. Now in their third year, the awards have acknowledged the achievements of some of the UK’s most prestigious private companies, including JCB and Dyson, and Dieselec Thistle’s achievement in winning the prestigious ‘Excellence Award’ in Edinburgh means that the company will now go forward to the UK awards at London’s Guildhall on 11th September.
The Private Business Award follows a string of recent accolades for Dieselec Thistle, including an Ernst & Young Scottish Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2013, presented at Gleneagles earlier this month, the AMPS Company of the Year award and a coveted 56th place ranking on The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list of the UK’s fastest growing companies.
Comments managing director of Dieselec Thistle, Paul Moore: “Once again, this latest award celebrates Dieselec Thistle’s success over the past two years, a period during which we have experienced phenomenal growth in terms of sales, profit and employee numbers. That success has been based on the hard work, expertise and dedication of the whole team here at Dieselec Thistle and I would like to congratulate our staff on another achievement as we continue to drive growth and build on our reputation for market-leading experience, service and innovation.”
