We have lots of news to update you on, it’s been a busy couple of months here at Dieselec Thistle HQ.
Following a successful recruitment campaign, we are pleased to have secured further engineering resources: we have promoted our long-standing service engineer, Andy Brown, to position of Service Supervisor; we have employed a new Service Manager, Graham Connell to oversee all aspects of our Service delivery, and subsequently, we have extended our fast-reaction reach with new field service engineers in Northern England and Northern Scotland.
This will ensure that we will continue to provide a business leading service to both our existing and new customers.
We have now taken delivery of the first of our new fleet of custom fitted and fully stocked vans (check out the bottom of this blog to see some photos). The new white vans are a change from the current fleet of 26 silver vans – they will not only refresh our corporate image but will ensure that we continue to carry out a first time fix on most visits to our customers generators.
Following the successful supply and installation of a new generator plant at the Southern General Hospital, DTG have been awarded a 5 year maintenance contract which is currently being implemented.
Our in-house Parts Department continues to grow with 2 record-breaking months of sales: existing accounts have been strengthened with wider choice and improved availability, while we have established new accounts for our Perkins range. We have updated our Parts Identification systems software so identifying what part you need, and ultimately getting this delivered is now more affordable, cost effective and seamless than ever.
